Facilitators hold parental meetings to explain educational purposes of self-initiated play with sand on children’s development and how nurseries keep the sand clean and safe.
They invite parents to enjoy sand play and explain directly, when they come to pick children up.
They also hold fun events for parents to enjoy sand play with children
Facilitators share some articles and pictures for sandplay on their facebook pages
Point 4: Facilitators efforts for safety and cleanliness of sand play environment
Facilitators cover sandpits while not in use
Facilitators remove any dirty or dangerous things in the sand with sieves, turn sand over with shovels to soften it and expose it to sunshine for sanitation
